On the study guide question number 7 it asks how the creature learns language and why are the words good, dearest and unhappy hard for him to learn. I know hat he learns language from listening to the people in the cottage and then it speaks about how when the say the are unhappy he feels depressed and when the say good he is filled with joy. So am completely lost it seems like if he is feeling the right emotion than he is getting the word. What am I missing

It's harder for him to understand them because unlike the other words he has learned, you cannot identify an emotion with an object...at least that is what I got.
Sounds good!
